Recognising Your Strengths
Over the next few months, we will be choosing a different theme each week in which we will post videos, write blog posts and create statistics pictures about. Each topic coincides with something which is taught in our 6 workshops and is a really useful bit of information if you’re wondering what our coaching entails.
This week’s focus is Recognising Your Strengths.
It is a lot easier to recognise our weaknesses than our strengths. As human beings, we tend to notice the things we aren’t good at more than what we find easy, and put pressure on ourselves to overcome these weaknesses.
Throughout our third workshop, we work with you to identify your strengths and to know them off by heart. We then encourage you to start applying these strengths to everyday life. We will also ask you to think about a time where you felt really good about yourself- where you felt things were going well. Thinking about the situation, the people you were with and any other circumstances, you will consider how you can replicate that moment so that again you can be at your best.
Research shows that those who play to their strengths are more happy and successful than those who don’t, so this workshop session is a really important one!
